Parma, Italy – April 9-11, 2024 – The 31st edition of the World Pizza Championships saw Parma transform into the global epicenter of pizza-making, as the world’s finest pizzaiolos gathered for three days of competition.
With over 700 chefs from 53 countries, the prestigious event brought together the world's most skilled pizza chefs to showcase their mastery in the art of pizza-making.
Sponsored by SITTA, this year’s championship wood-fired ovens were fuelled by il Faggetto, ensuring that every creation was cooked to perfection. The event, held at the Palaverdi building, featured more than 1,000 individual competitions spread across 12 different categories, testing participants in areas ranging from classic Neapolitan-style pizzas to innovative gourmet creations and team events.
In addition to the competition, the exhibition area provided a platform for Championship Partners to showcase the latest advancements in pizza-making technology, ingredients, and equipment.
From traditionalists to experimental innovators, the World Pizza Championships continue to celebrate the craftsmanship and passion behind one of the world’s most beloved foods.
